Old Jail Museum

A jail until it closed in 1973; the museum was opened in 1975 and is operated by the Montgomery County Cultural Foundation. There are several golf courses in the area including Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course, Crawfordsville Country Club, Rocky Ridge Golf Course, and Turkey Run Golf Club. Plenty of opportunities for a round or two.

Strawberry Festival - Local Festivals

Sugar Creek Bike Trail

The Sugar Creek Trail is a 4.5 mile trail located in Crawfordsville's scenic west-side. The trail makes use of the historic Big-Four rail corridor, with the western destination being Sugar Creek. A great place for walking, jogging, bicycling, roller-blades, cross country skiing, and enjoying nature.

Linden Railroad Museum

The Linden Railroad Museum is adjacent to the present-day Indianapolis-Chicago mainline of the CSX Railroad (formerly the Monon) and the abandoned and removed Norfolk Southern Railroad (formerly the Nickel Plate).

The museum features a collection of material mainly from the two railroads it once served: Monon and Nickel Plate.
